Hi Y’all! I believe it is safe to say that most people in America have tried or at least heard of Coca-Cola. Many consider it an American classic, but there is a different Coke that is showing up and people are really liking it. Mexican Coca-Cola is still owned by the same corporation, but it is processed and bottled in Mexico.
The biggest difference between the two very similar drinks is that American Coke is made with high-fructose corn syrup and Mexican Coke is made with cane sugar. The other difference between the two drinks is that Mexican Coke is sold in glass bottles, while American Coke is sold in plastic bottles. Some people say that Mexican Coke has a more natural taste compared to the American version. But, all of this all might not be true.
A scientific analysis of Mexican Coke reported no standard sugars in the sample. So that leaves the question, Why do some people prefer Mexican Coke? The answer to that is America is a little spoiled. The Coca-Cola that Mexico exports to American is made with cane sugar, but not all the Coca-Cola’s actually sold in Mexico are. If you would like to read more about why this is I will leave a link below where you can find some more information.
Personally, I think there’s nothing like drinking a naturally sweet Coca-Cola out of a classic glass bottle.
